Student Organizations

Student organizations are one of the primary areas of connection and leadership development on campus. Through these organizations, students are able to connect with others who have similar interests. Joining an organization is an excellent way for new students to meet and get to know returning students, faculty, and staff. As members become more involved in their organizations, they will not only have the opportunity to grow into leadership positions but also begin meeting other organizational leaders across campus to find unique ways their organizations can help each other grow.

To keep student organizations going strong, there is an executive board led by students and a staff advisor that serve very important functions for student organizations. Student Executive Board is the body of organizational representatives who recognize new student organizations, process funding requests from student organizations, confirm that organizations are still meeting minimum requirements, and if necessary, place organizations on probation and/or revoke their recognition.

Contact our office for more information on either group or if you have any questions about how to participate.
